Hmm...

This post is just for fun and informational purposes, it only expresses personal view and no discrimination or whatsoever.

Been to watch NYGHS performance on fri night with Jeremy,Xunkai and Timothy. The topic they are following on is good, but I can see that it is a bit rushed out for the storyline. Here's my view( I second row seh,see so clearly, lol)

First show
A mute and deaf girl who is ostracized by the people, but loves to help people in need in watever ways she can, even risking her own life. 2 magical clowns appear one morning when she wakes up.They tell her thatthey can cure her, only if she promises not to help others. The girl makes a hard decision and recovers. She forces herself not to help others, and in the end,she feels lost and loses her true human nature. The show actually reflects on the real life people. The clowns represents represents the vast society and the girl reflects people who are actually forced by this system to change for their own "good". In the end, people nowadays do not feel true happiness and are actually lost.

Second show
This shows an ordinary school girl at first, but she meets the 4 gods, representing gender, beauty, intelligence and,the god of live and death. The 4 gods changes her to suit her requests, but in the end,the girl longs for the original her.The gods tell her it is impossible to reverse time, and she takes her own life.People are ever-changing,but they long for themselves. It is so weird, yet pitiful.

Yeah, thats about it,i forgot the third show content liao, haha, ppl say I talk too cheem here? LOL
